2006 EVENTS AT THE HOMESTEAD
THE LANCASTER FENCIBLES dressed in authentic Civil War uniforms and weapons represent Lancaster's 1861 volunteers in the Centennial ceremonies and battle re-enactments. Here they are practicing maneuvers at a Civil War site at union Mills, MD.
THE PATRIOT DAUGHTERS in the background were a Ladies Auxiliary unit during the Civil War. They are wearing 1861 costumes and participate in ceremonies with the Fencibles.
