Children's Activities at Union Mills

Wednesdays starting July 6 through August 25, 2011

	Starting on Wednesday, July 6th and running every Wednesday through August 25th, the Union Mills Homestead is offering a summer educational series for children ages 6 - 10. The program cost is $2.50 and includes: A fun guided tour through the Shriver Homestead with POPS A guided tour and milling demonstration with Ivan. Free souvenir We urge participants to pack a lunch and picnic in the lovely Homestead park which surrounds the Homestead. Yes, picnic tables are available. This program will consist of two one hour tours each Wednesday starting at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Each tour has limited space, reservations are preferred and will be honored first. The Homestead is located on Rt. 97, 7 miles north of Westminster, Md.
